About the author
Born in Amsterdam and adopted by an artistic family, David sold his first comic book at the age of 8 for the sum of 10 cent, hand-drawing each copy for the lack of a photocopier.
Confused what to do after high school, he studied physics at university only to ditch it for the infamous Rietveld Art Academy. Amused but shocked at the drunken teachers and self-harming students, he soon realised he had to make a life of Art and Soul on his own terms.
Work as a waiter, postman, actor, tutor, web designer and illustrator followed in the shadow of his life-long love for art, philosophy, literature, pancakes, photography and comics.
Now he is living in London and working on the second part 'Detached' of his Neshuma trilogy.
